This film is one of the best videos yet about the murders of Christopher Wallace
and Tupac Shakur. There are many movies about the lives of these two
world-famous rappers but they all seem to almost copy the others information and
video fotage. Only every now and then do you get a film that is this rare and
honest. If you are or were deep into the lives of BIG and Pac and are a big fan
of either or both this movie will scare you and stick in the back of your head
for many days to come. From interviews with L.A.P.D. officers to actually going
inside the prison in Cali.

1st Review:
Tupac Vs has really good footage of 2Pac in concert, the Outlawz and some of the
then-Death Row staff. Loved the interview with 'Pac in jail. Some of the stuff
he says will shock the hell out of you. He really is a legend and a prophet.
Only thing that bugged me about the documentary was them freaken commentators.
That Dyson girl and Elihu maggot write a book about 'Pac and all of a sudden
they think they're experts. Man, if you did'nt know him personally then stop
showing up on dvds. They just annoy you and spoil the whole video. Mopreme would
have been a much better option.

2nd review:
After seeing a screener copy of the film I do believe that Tupac Vs. is a highly
organized document of an icon, a philosopher, and more importantly of a man. A
film which for the first time estimates the value of Tupac Shakur. It is not a
door into the history of contemporary black culture, it is history itself. Tupac
Vs. is the first and only film acknowledging the authority of Tupac's words. A
film defining the essence of his life in such an original way - a cognitive
motion, ending in passion since there is no way to crack it. Because who can
stop the sun seized by a passion for returning? Compared to this film most of
the other ones about Tupac Shakur are like a dried-up lake: with neither depth
nor moisture. Bravo to the filmmakers.

An icon created by destiny and nurtured through the spirit of his life, not the tragic fate of his death.

Tupac stays alive through his music and he continues to inspire not only his fellow artists, but a culture beyond hip-hop and one belonging to the world.
